Welcome Message, January e-newsletter
Welcome to our January newsletter. We’re entering the New Year with a sense of optimism reflected in our upcoming program. The big occasion this month is, of course, Chinese New Year which falls on 23 January 2012, ushering in the Year of the Dragon.
To mark this occasion, our Chinese restaurant The Mayflower, will be preparing three Chinese New Year set menus as well as a special A la carte menu. Sit back and enjoy the famous lion dance show while we honour you with a “red envelope” as a highlight of this ancient yet colourful festival. In Chinese lore the Dragon symbolises passion and bravery, qualities we’re sure will be reflected in the lion dance.
The Chinese New Year, celebrations will spill over into our buffet restaurant, The Pavilion, with our “come 4 pay for 2 offer” running from 23 January until 25 January 2012
From the 8 January until 11 February 2012 guests can make the most of our Chinese New Year package with details on the discounts and vouchers listed below.
Aside from New Year we have The GranMonte Winery teaming up with The D’Sens restaurant to host a wine dinner on 12 January 2012. This is a great opportunity to discover why our new Chef de cuisine at D’Sens, Christian Ham, is rapidly becoming “talk of the town” amongst Bangkok’s gourmands. Working alongside the vintners from GranMonte, he’ll be pairing some of Thailand’s finest wines with superior French cuisine.
We look forward to seeing you this month as we enter the Year of the Dragon with the intention of providing the very best in hospitality for you.
