Mr Chatchawal Supachayanont, General Manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya has announced the appointment of Neoh Kean Boon as the resort's new Resident Manager. He replaces Mr Aloysius Michael, who is now Dusit International's Corporate Director of Rooms Division. A Malaysian national, Mr Neoh brings with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality business with a strong background in Food & Beverage. For over 18 years, he has advanced his career at hotels including Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa in Langkawi, Malaysia. In his new role, Mr Neoh will be responsible for the hotel's overall operations with focus on F&B aspects.

Chatchawal Supachayanont, GM of Dusit Thani Pattaya receives Thai New Year greetings and wishes from one of the hotel's foreign guests during ceremonies marking the first day of the Songkran festival on Friday, 13 April 2012. The annual event is celebrated by making donations to Buddhist monks who perform prayers at the Napalai Convention Hall.

For eight years now, Dusit Thani Pattaya has been one of the sponsors of the Cross Bay Swim event, participated in by swimming aficionados mostly students from various schools in Bangkok and the eastern seaboard. The 2011 event was re-scheduled to 25 March 2012 from its original date due to weather and safety conditions. Mr Warranyoo Matayat and Ms Piradee Ragtong (standing left, pictured above) of the hotel's Banqueting team congratulated the winners and organisers of the swim competition. Every year, the hotel provides towels, water, a sumptuous buffet lunch for the participants and other facilities. The Cross Bay Swim is jointly coordinated by the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya and other sponsors. Proceeds benefit the underprivileged children in the eastern seaboard communities by providing them with clean drinking water facilities and other forms of assistance. .
